Things to consider: (Source: www.nursingcouncil.org.nz) I have the links for the application process but I will just dish out these following criteria for an easy check:
1. Applicants must have completed the required two years post-registration practice, within the immediate 5 years preceding application (no less than 2,500 hours).
- this simply means that you should have 2 years post registration experience within the last 5 years to be considered for application, and the total number of hours should be a minimum of 2, 500 hours or almost 1 year and 3 to 4 months, depending on how many hours you work a day. Newly passed RNs will not be considered as you lack the required post registration length.
- some schools are now particular with the nursing experience, the better you have, the higher probability of getting picked.
- some schools are now particular with the nursing experience, the better you have, the higher probability of getting picked.
2. Pass the IELTS or OET- you need a band score of 7 with all categories also rating 7 each.
- there are some schools here that have increased their IELTS rate to 7.5, so, do your best. A good IELTS score can make a difference.
- An applicant must pass the OET with a score of at least B in each section.
- An applicant must pass the OET with a score of at least B in each section.
3. And of course, you must be a Registered Nurse in your home country.
There are more requirements that you have to achieve but these are the most basic ones that you will need initially to start with your application.
Now, there are 2 stages in the application and the above mentioned steps are part of stage 1.
Click here for the link: http://nursingcouncil.org.nz/Nurses/International-registration, and click this Registered nurse International application form
The links above will provide you all the requirements you will need in each step, Stage 1 will cost NZD 485.00, non refundable. Once approved with stage 1, then they will send you an email and hard copy of the result and will give you the signal to proceed to Stage 2.
And finally, they will require you to undergo the Competency Assessment Program once you are cleared off Stage 2. Your problem now will be looking for a school, there are approved CAP providers all over the country and you will want to get an offer of place ASAP. The NCNZ will give you 18 months to look for a school and complete the CAP course otherwise, your approval will expire and you will have to do it all over again. The following link will provide you with the list of schools providing the CAP program.
If you are doing this all by your own, I'd suggest you apply to all schools listed and accept the first one that gives you an offer. There are limits to the slots available, so I say, just accept the first one regardless of the school's location. And I'm not sure if this is true but it looks like that agencies are given priority of slots for placement.
With me, I had a hard time finding a school because I did it on my own and got an offer of place after nearly 16 months. I noticed also that the application process is harder when you are overseas, the communication takes time unlike what I've seen here where our fellow Pinoy nurses working as caregivers would receive immediate reply from the council and schools once they submit their applications. That's why it's best if you just submit all your applications to all schools.
Otherwise, if you have a budget, you can find some of the agents that are affiliated here for easier school acceptance. Just be wary of opportunist, scrupulous, money brained agents. One agent I know, she charges NZD 2500, depends on the currency exchange but that will be around Php 80,000.00.
You will need an offer of place from the school before you can apply for your visa. The Immigration will give you a visitor's visa because the CAP course is under 3 months of study. You can extend your visa when it expires and while you wait for your Registration.
The Nursing Council sometimes will deny applications based on some criteria which they will let you know. They may require you to provide additional documents which you will need to submit ASAP. But they can deny your applications even if you have provided supporting documents, if this happens:
What if I disagree with the decision?
You may disagree with the decision and want to discuss the outcome or provide further information. If this is the case, you should write to the Registration Manager explaining why you disagree with the decision and setting out any concerns or questions you have.
Don't be afraid to speak your mind, this is New Zealand, they listen! I was declined due to the reason that apparently, my school's education standard was not in standard with NZ nursing school even if I have provided all the supporting documents they asked. I made a letter and defended my transcript and the supporting evidences I have submitted and after a week from rejection, I received a positive answer and they wanted me to do the CAP.
Now, I'm on my second year here in NZ, 1 year and 8 months as a Registered Nurse. I had a hard time coming here but it was all worth it! Hope to see you soon, fellow RNs!
I'll do my best to answer questions if you have.
ta!
******Hi everyone, I am really sorry for not answering many of your questions. I have been really busy these past few months that I haven't checked this blog. So, I've read your comments and thank you (thousand times) for those taking time to answer questions of other hopeful (then successful) applicants. Certainly, there's like several changes in the process with NCNZ being online now and to which I don't have any idea how it works. So, once again, Thank you, Maraming Salamat po, to everyone who answered. See you all here in NEW ZEALAND. Be kind to one another. Best of Luck to everyone!!!

Hi, my friend got her CAP letter. She is now looking for schools, she is currently in Australia. Where can she find an agent to help her with? Hope you can help, thank you.
ReplyDeletehi, has she tried to apply to the schools herself? i will ask for agencies, i'm not very sure if the agencies my friends used before are still doing the same..
DeleteHi, thank you for replying. Yes, she applied to all of the CAP accredited schools already. Some of the schools requires the applicant to be in NZ already or living in NZ, so those are out of the list.. :| and some schools accomodates applications from the agents first. We are trying to find an agent. Any help would so greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Deletehi, i have talked to some of the recent and current Filipino nurses taking the CAP and have suggested to try and apply to these schools as they have been accepting new CAP students from direct and independent applicants in the Philippines: Northtec- next intake is on March; and Wesley Institute of Learning- they have an in house agent that will correspond with your friend once she places her application in.. i'm waiting for a message from my friend regarding the agents.. Bear in mind also that sometimes, school will offer a place a week or two before the course starts if an enrolee backs out and a ready finance will be very helpful then..
DeleteHi, thank you for your time replying. My friend has gotten her letter offer already and is accepted to a school. She will be attending Wesley. Thank you for your time and advice. Greatly appreciated. :)
DeleteWell done.. all the best for her!
Deletehi! i will be taking my CAP this coming june at Waiariki. Can you please tell me about the job opportunities over there for nurses. I'm afraid my visa would lapse without having to find an employer. Thank you so much for your reply..
ReplyDeleteHi chie, i'm not sure if i have replied on this message but anyway, job opportunities are everywhere, and as long as you don't choose, then you can always land one. You can start looking for a job while you're waiting for your registration and Annual Practicing Certificate. There are websites that you can look into for jobs: Trade me; SEEK; check for the different DHB websites and ElderNet. Some facilities may respond quickly and will be willing to support your working visa application once your registration and APC are completed. If you have a good nursing experience in the PI, it will certainly make a difference. All the best on your CAP.
DeleteHello kumusta ang CAP mo? Nakahanap ka agad ng work ?
DeleteHello kumusta ang CAP mo? Nakahanap ka agad ng work ?
DeleteHi, i just saw this blog.. Hoping you can help me decide ... I already have 3 yrs experience. most of my exp is in dialysis here at the hospital.. im planning to go to nz but i dnt want to go there as a student coz its really expensive.. Im planning to have the CAP slot. but before that I should pass the ielts or the oet. what do u think is better? OEt or ielts? when it comes to reviewing for oet/ielts i find it hard to review if im still working.. im planning to resign instead so that i can focus.. what bothers me is that i wont have any salary at all,, haha and what if I fail.. i dnt want to stay at home and to be a "tambay" hehe.. one more thing.. is it still ok if ever Ill apply for CAP or process... can i still process my CAP alone even without agencies? is it still advisable? coz i saw some that they did process there CAP alone without the help of any agencies.. hoping some would help me decide.. ;(
ReplyDeletehi grace,
DeleteYou can either take IELTS or OET (OET is more expensive though). I would suggest you not to quit your job, but maybe apply for a leave even if for just two weeks. Length of waiting for approval is not the same for every one, so I'd suggest you stick with your work, it can be very stressful to be jobless. As Yeng mentioned below, agency is not required for you to process. You can do it, the communication now is better as you can keep track on the status of your application process. Start reviewing now and pass the language exam. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers!
Hi Rachel, thanks for this informative blog, I was able to complete stage 1-stage2 with your help here. Nursing Council already sent me an email to start looking for a school to commence my CAP course. Hope I can join early next year.
ReplyDelete@Grace, start doing your paperworks now. Either of the two "IELTS or OET" is accepted to the Nursing Council. Yes, you can process your documents without an agency. Just go the Nursing Council of New Zealand website and read about International Registration for Nurses. Pwede na ata online application now.
Yo Yeng,
DeleteCongratulations! just apply to all the schools coz it may take time for some to reply then grab an offer immediately. Apparently, there's a long queue with the schools around here. Hope you get one ASAP..
Best of Luck!
Hi vagabondwannabe, Thanks very much. Now, I'm busy looking for a school that can accept me to commence the CAP course. I hope I will be given an offer as soon as possible. Thanks again.
ReplyDeletehey, yeng, just want to know if you were able to find a school already?
Deletecheers!
hello. can someone here by my contact person in case i need to ask something regarding my application for new zealand? by the way i am planning to take my ielts test this january. i hope i can find someone who is at the same stage as mine. :)
ReplyDeletehi marielle,
Deletejust leave your message here and we'll try to answer it ASAP.
Best of luck on your IELTS examination.
happy holidays!!
thank you :)
Deletei guess il be asking some after ive gathered all requirements. especially ielts :)
Hello Ms Vagabondwannabe, happy new year! Tanomg ko lang, how long did it take you to get the approval letter from the Nursing council after submitting all the necessary docs? I'm good with all the requirements except for ielts, I have taken it but not fortunate to get all 7 so i'll take it again early this 2016. Salamat sa advice if any.
ReplyDeletehi nina,
DeleteHappy new year, too!!
processing time is different for everyone but it may take longer as you are still in the Philippines but don't let this deter you because at the end of the day, it will be up to your case officer at the nursing council who can make it either faster or slower. It will be an advantage if you have all the requirements needed which I think you do have already. Take the IELTS quickly and then send your requirements immediately. It took some time for me as they had heaps of problem with the course syllabus from my Uni.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

DeleteHello are they doing background check to Hospitals in your COE?
ReplyDeleteHi, Yiska, I don't think so.. I never heard of anything like it...
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHi, good day! I just want to ask if they are particular with the 'letter from employer'. Does it really require an email address from the employer? My employer do not want to provide his email address. :(
ReplyDeleteIs that for the Nursing Council application? they would prefer to have an option with the contact details. May i ask why your employer is not keen to provide his email address?
DeleteHello pwede din ba ako magpatulong? Kasi pinapadagdagan ng NCNZ ang COE ko. Ilagay daw ito. (information about rrsources available to you in relation to your role, info. Regarding contact with other prof. Org./healthcare inst. In relation to your RN role. This should be in their official letterheads ) ano po gusto nilang gawin jan ?
ReplyDeleteHi to everyone.. ask ko lang po if anyone here took their nsg course for more than 4 years tas naapprove ng nznc? I am hoping for a response. Thank you very much..

DeleteHello Haydz, kumusta na application? in same situation pala tayo. took me morethan 4 years to finish the course.
Delete@yiska bear, kumusta na application mu? May approval letter ka na?
ReplyDeletehello yiska bear, musta na po application mo? ask ko sana kung pwede ba na ung letter from the employer regarding the hours of clinical practice, pwede po ba na galing sa nursing office instead na sa hr dept? pero me letterhead pa rin ng hospital.(planning to apply din po sana sa june or july after taking IELTS - from jeddah po pala ako.
ReplyDeleteHi good eve. im wondering po if the school or the program (CAP) provides a place to stay or ill be the one to look for some1 i know na pagsstay-an sa NZ? gnun po ba?
ReplyDeletesome schools offer accommodation which will either be included in the tuition fee or another payment. If you get accepted from a school then you can always ask them, most of them would have recommendations given the increase in CAP students. Otherwise, you will have to look for a place to stay during the length of your course
DeleteAlright. Big thanks.
ReplyDeleteHello everyone. Ask lang po sana. I have 2 offer of a place and i need to decide soon. Which is better?
ReplyDeleteWesley - 6 weeks cap or otago -9 weeks? Thanks. Godbless everyone.
hi, i would go for wesley! that's just because it's easier.. :D..
DeleteHow about the expenses po? D naman cgro nagkakalayo ang expenses? Sabi nila mas cheaper sa otago. Pero im worried of the 3 weeks additional. Prang sayang sa time and resources when i could finish in 6 weeks. :) thanks very much for the reply.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
Deletepretty much the same on expenses as you have pointed out due to the added 3 weeks of OP. as i have discussed on my other article: http://rachelearendil.blogspot.co.nz/2014/01/my-cap-experience-and-understanding-on.html
DeleteOtago's requirements are really on top. I just think we don't need too much stress while we are completing the CAP. Read on the link i provided. Few of my friends went with Wesley and they were happy with how they finished quite easily. I tell you from the gods of Olympus, stress while finishing your CAP is not needed. Goodluck!
Got it. Thank you very much for the advice. :)
ReplyDeletehello po. mgtatanung lang po sana ako kung anung ilalagay sa date registered na box sa stage 2 transcript verification form ko po. ung part po sa ibabaw na i-fifill up mismo ng applicant (section A). may nakalagay po kasi na name, adress of applicant, school of nursing, address of school of nursing, qualification obtained at date registered. im confused po kung date of registration as a nurse ba yun or may kinalaman un sa skul kasi sa transcript verification form po kasi nakalagay, hindi sa verification of license. tahnks po sa makasagot
ReplyDeletethat's your date of registration as a nurse. cheers!
Deletethank you vagabond! cheers! :D
Deletedone sending my stage 1 documents. sana walang sumabit sa mga requirements ko at walang bumalik sa aking mgha forms. sobrang costly pa naman ng courier fee (O.O) :)
ReplyDeletegood day! gano po katagal bago lumabas un approval letter fr ncnz? may kc kami pprocess den target july lipad, my visa na kc kami so dun na enrol ng CAP sa desired institution. feasible ba ang one and a half to two months process to get the approval letter to take CAP fr NCNZ? salamat in advance s sasagot nito. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd meron ba particular format sa professional reference, coe i understand it needs to be addressed sa NCNZ and meron details sa NCNZ un particular info mismo na nkalagay dapat pero gsto q sana mkakita ng actual format baka po my link kau that would direct me sa details na need q. thanks
Deletehi to answer both of your questions, length and speed of approval is not the same but it can take from 2-5 months but possibly longer if they have problems with your papers. What visa do you have? Are you coming as residents already?
DeleteThere is no particular format and I cannot provide you with a link for the references. These documents are individualized/customized as long as you have provided all the informations they have required.
but check in again later, maybe someone will provide you a sample..
cheers!
hi @pisaysthoughts, sorry for the very late response i got very busy reviewing for IELTS and i needed to find your particular blog somewhere in my inbox again. I was bombarded with so many articles due to this IELTS. Anyway, my visa is under Work visa category and we are flying in Christchurch in Aug. I wanna clarify, if ever we start processing our CAP application (stage 1 and hopefully 2) here in the Philippines and if no decision is made yet by the time we fly, is it Okay to wait for the decision in NZ already? How is the decision made? Are they going to send a hard and a soft copy of the decision? Im just concerned about the hard copy if ever the decision will take longer to be released. Thanks a lot i appreciate ur help. God bless you girl. :)
DeleteHi may i ask is it really required to get an ielts score of 7 to qualify for nznc for CAP? Is 6.5 not valid to start the processing for stage 1.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the council requires an overall IELTS band score of 7 (7 in all categories) and B for OET to start the application.. try to take the exam again, you can submit 2 IELTS results granted it is taken within a year after the first examination. Good luck!
Deletehello may i ask if how long does it usually take for the nursing council to give you your reference number upon submitting stage 1 documents? i sent them my stage 1 papers thru fed-ex and the tracking system of fed ex has already sent me a confirmation thru email that it was received by the nursing council already yesterday. one more thing, can i start asking my school and the prc to send them the accomplished transcript ad verification forms already or i should wait for my reference number. thank you for the help. (fingers crossed all things went well)
ReplyDelete@tolerance It took 48hrs (business hours) for them to give me the stage 2 and the reference number - that is of course after you've paid and after they've received/assessed your documents. I used my credit card so it was fast.
Deletethank you yainah sy. i applied using their online application and used credit card too. they already deducted 650nz dollars from it. after that, i submitted immediately my requirements and it landed on nz nursing council last march 4. im currently waiting for my reference number and confirmation of receipt of stage 1 documents since the council has not send me any of those yet.
DeleteI applied last year. It was very fast and they respond quickly to any questions. Give them time to assess your documents for Stage 1. It may be a case to case basis. Btw, Im working overseas and not in the Philippines.
Delete@tolerance Let your school prepare for the needed papers. I had a total of 26 pages school records. It took them awhile to prepare all. You need the verification request by the Nursing Council addressed to the school. Fill it up and let the school finish it. This is the pack included in Stage 2. Goodluck!
ReplyDeleteHello guys! Ask lang. What's the best way to pay CAP fees? I just made a bank transfer for medcall fees sa wesley. Pero parang matagal ang bank transfer. (Bpi) ksi kelangan dumaan ng bank of new York (USD-NZD). Pano sa cap fees? Ano mas madali and secure na way pra makabayad ng fees dritso sa school?? Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello! I have already passed stage 1 requirements and the IQN checklist to nz even without a reference number since they already sent me confirmation in less than 24 hrs after paying the fees. Prc already sent the verification request and the courier informed me that it was already received by the nsg council. It is already 1 month and I still havent received my reference number
ReplyDeleteCould there be something wrong with my documents? Some of my friends already received their ref number.
hi, i think your best bet would be to lodge a query with the nursing council as they may have overlooked your file especially if they did not have any problems with it. Good luck
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHi again. Ive already ask them and told me that i have to wait for my reference number until my documents are assessed and processed. Are there instances like this that happened before? Thank you
ReplyDeleteIts quite 'weird' that they will send you Stage 2 without reference number. You should have asked them before sending your documents. Your reference number serves as your passcode for the updates of your application. Anyhow, since I believe your application is under process, just wait for their assessment and decision. :) It took them at least 30days for them to give my approval.
DeleteHi! I already got my ref number just yesterday. I am almost complete with my application, should I get my ICHC now? Or should I wait until all my papers are assessed? Thanks
Delete@anonymous Yay! I had my approval early of 2015. I followed the old guidelines. I wasnt required to get the ICHC during that time. Maybe the new applicants can answer that for you or better yet ask the Nursing Council. They are very helpful!
Deletehello. may iask if r u directed by the council to have ur ichc? have u done it? i think we r on the same page with our application. i wasnt directly told by the council to have my ichc but it shows on my log on details that the ichc is still blank. unlike the other requirements on the list which has a date processed beside them. so it was not realy clear to me if i should have it or not. the ichc also emailed me along with my reference number a reminder not to contact them while they are assessing my documents. so i am still fguring out whether to have it or not
Delete@tolerance I applied and got approved last year with the old guidelines so I am no longer familiar with the new requirements. I was only asked to provide a police clearance which is not more than 6 months. It is best to ask the council or your case officer. They were very fast and helpful based from my experience. If you have a blank detail, then the requirement must be met.
DeleteHi @tolerance, may I ask if you are now in stage 2 of your application? I understand you lodged ur requirements for stage 1 last Mar. 2. Thank you.
DeleteICHC will be conducted by an Australian agency once you get there. It costs more than a hundred NZ dollars.
DeleteFor the latest about International Criminal History, you will do that upon the 1st week of the CAP as verbalized by the NCNZ. The ICHC will be conducted by FIT2WORK, they are the only accredited company of NCNZ to conduct criminal checking.
DeleteHi! Please sana may magreply. Salamat
ReplyDeleteSame po tayo ng problem. Kumusta po papers niyo? Nakuha niyo na po ba o napadala na po a NCNZ? Ung akin nga po nung first week of march ko pa po napadala sa school.
Delete@anonymous I think that the transcript request registration date pertains to the date you started your nursing program.
ReplyDeleteNilagyan ko na lang po ng / then nilagay prc reg date, if ever po yung form lang naman siguro ang ipapaulit sa akin?
DeleteHi there! I understand on line application na ngayon for nursing council nz, bale paano po b yun after payment bago ba dapat isend ung papers or should it be done simultaneously po? And my email po b n matatanggap once they've confirmed your online application? Thank you 😄
ReplyDeleteThey will send you confirmation and some forms attached na ipapaaccomplish mo sa prc and sa university mo
DeleteHi @anngelie so may tanong po ako ano po yung date registered na nakalagay s transcript request form is it the start of university studies or date of registration as a nurse po thanks
DeleteHello good day po. Ung nalagay ko po sa date registration sa transcript request form ko is ung date of graduation ko po. Okay lang po kaya yon? O anong date po ba ang kelangan ilagay doon? Please help po.
ReplyDeletehello am compiling stage 1 requirements guys and would like to enquire if 3year hospital diplomas are acceptable?l also want to know how long it takes to get stage 2 forms after submission of stage1.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you have completed all stage 1 requirements, they will send you notification for stage 2. I think it is just a matter of days after stage 1 completion.
Deletethank you, managed to lodge my application.l received stage 2 forms with no reference number.is this usual?
DeleteHi! anong mga circumstances ang nadedecline nag application sa nursing council? thank you
ReplyDeleteKapag hindi ka nakapagcomply sa mga requirements nla within a year or two.
DeleteHello! Completed ko na po lahat ng requirements. In assessment stage na ako and Ive also sent them some documents na nirequire nilang isend ko. Pwede bang maging basehan ang hindi kagandahang tor para madecline application ko? @pisaythoughts anong nangyari exactly kung vakig declined una yung application mo?
ReplyDeleteYour TOR grades doesn't matter and they questioned why on my syllabus, some nursing aspects were not included (genetic nursing, aged care and many more), the school just needed to add to which subjects these topics were discussed and it worked with the council.
DeleteThank you for the reply. My friend was asked to pass an explanation as to why she started working prior sa registration date na nakalagay sa license. Nagpadala na siya together with a certification from their HR na inallow nila yun since the NLE result was already out that time and she was on of the passers posted.
Im planning to accept their Cap offer. Thank you
ReplyDeleteLonsdale ka na lang! Para classmates tayo hehe
Deleteno offer from lonsdale eh. lipat ka nalang Rannerdale para classmate tayo. :)
DeleteAng alam ko mabilis lang sila magreply? Rannerdale kasi 2 weeks pa bago lumabas ang assesment of documents kaya maglonsdale na ako
DeleteHi there fellow nurses!!!! To those who already started their application, kasama bang isesend ung OTR and summary of RLE s stage 1? Thankyou thankyo
ReplyDeleteHi anyone here who took OET?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why Im not receiving the mailed result yet. I want to pass my requirements na kasi.
Stage 1 po ba yung letter OET coe cert?
May mga reqts pa po ba sa stage 2?
Hi anyone here who took OET?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why Im not receiving the mailed result yet. I want to pass my requirements na kasi.
Stage 1 po ba yung letter OET coe cert?
May mga reqts pa po ba sa stage 2?
Hello Mabelle, I am an OET passer you will have your result approximately 18 days to one month. OET is stage 1 requirement. Stage 2 is the TOR, and PRC verification
Deleteit will take one month almost ang pag seng ng result via PHILPOST..
DeleteWho is going to Rannerdale in Christchurch for the September CAP?

ReplyDeleteHi guys. Im planning mag undergo sa nsg cap any list and procedure mag guide sakin? Anu steps? Better take ielts first then mag process po ako papers? Then i have almost 3yrs gap from nursing kasi nag work na as medical claims processor ma kakaaffect po b un sa aplication but ihave 2.8yrs experience sa pinas. Hoping kind response tia .
ReplyDeleteHi Mcp.RN.., you'll have to apply to the nursing council of nz first for they'll be the one to give you a go signal to have your CAP. However, yes, indeed taking your ielts first is the best idea. Having a gap from nursing doesn't have any bearing at all, you only need 2 years experience in the five years before application and a total of atleast 2,500 working hours
DeleteThank you purple.. Informative info.

ReplyDeleteseptember ako sa eit. sino sa inyo nakapag try na sa online visa application? magtatanong sana ako anong category ng visitor visa ang pinili nyo for us taking the cap course.
ReplyDeleteHello. Magtatanong lng po sana ako rgarding sa ichc. Mag-eemail po ba ang council to signal na pwede na ung gawin?
ReplyDeleteyes they will inform you when to comply that. The usual statement is comply it on the first week of the CAP program.
ReplyDeleteWill the council also email us if the requiremnts are okay and they will strt the assessmnt process?
ReplyDeleteyes Dinno Tagalog they will inform you if it is lacking or complete. They will inform you as well if the assessment is ready and in assessment through your tracking.
DeleteHello. Ask ko lng po if the assessmnt will strt even if la ka pang ichc?
ReplyDeleteyes it will start na the moment complete na , no need to comply ichc during that stage. ichc will be asked upon first week of cap program
DeleteHow long does it take for the council pra malagay nila sa online tracker if nrecieve nila ang documents na pinadala mo? May idea ka po? Thnx. Npadala na kc ung vrification rquest frm prc last wik pa pro up until now di pa reflected sa online status.
ReplyDeleteHi Dinno Tagalog. Usually mga one week bago mag appear sa online tracker.
ReplyDeleteThnx maria. 😊
ReplyDeletein my case pag kareceieve ng verification from prc the next day nasa online tracker na .. it can be possible a day after they will receive the document manote na sa tracker..:)
ReplyDeleteItong prc vrification rquest ang pnkamtgal. Ung ibang docs snnd ko ,reflectd agad sa trckr aftr 2 days.. Eto pa nmn ung last na doc remaining. Zzz

ReplyDeletehi pisaysthoughts, I'm a shifter but most of my minor subjects ave been credited, nasa registration manager na papers ko but i feel there is a big chances of rejection dahlia sa accreditation status ng school ko. any advice on the appeal?can i message you privately?
ReplyDeleteHello. May nakalagay sa tracker ko na ready for assessment last june15 pa ung date pro nw lang nilagay sa tracker. Ibig sbhin ba non on going na assessmnt ko?thnx
ReplyDeleteHow will i know if the assessment is already ongoing? Nkalagay lng kc sa tracker na ready for assessment. Thnx
ReplyDeleteIba iba ng number of days or weeks depende yan sa case officer, from what i know. If complete ang documents, 2 weeks may CAP letter na. You will know if ongoing ma ang assessment when your tracker indicates "In Assessment".
ReplyDeleteCurrently searching for a school. Waiting for NMIT, Otago Polytechnic and Rannerdale. :) hoping to join their intakes for the last quarter of 2016!
Hi guys! Ask k lng po kailan makakareceive ng tracker ID? Will they be sending you one aftet they've received your docs? Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI am a sir by the way.. I got an offer too at lonsdale dati and had read the benefits of studying lonsdale, however more expensive and lonsdale since malapit sa wellington and wala akong makitang reviews for lonsdale. NMIT has a good reputation and seen reviews and cheaper din ang fee and lifestyle. you can contact me on this email, excellence_arian@yahoo.com.ph

Whats the best route to Christchurch NZ?
ReplyDeleteShould i get an insurance before coming to NZ? Whats your thoughts on that? Tnx
ReplyDeletehi there, am not sure about your arrangement but i think your school fee comes with an insurance. Just ask the school if it's included in your tuition fee. Cheers!
DeleteHi! I’ve been reading around this blog for quite sometime now and has been a huge help! I have a question and hopefully if you can help me out.
ReplyDeleteI’ve just received the CAP letter from NZNC and is looking for a school now to undergo the CAP course. I havent received any replies yet from the schools to which I applied. My problem is Im getting married this September. Im kinda anxious on what will happen to my applications to any of the CAP providers and NZNC cause I have used my maiden name. If God permits and my marriage will push through this September, I plan to apply for a change of name to my husband’s name, which means my maiden name on the PRC license and Passport, which I have used during my initial application in NZNC, will be changed. And I am ambivalent on what will happen then to my application? Should I submit an authenticated marriage certificate, new PRC license and Passport using my husband's name to NZNC at this stage? Can anyone please advice? Thank you!
hi, i would suggest you keep using your maiden name, it will be hard to change details at the stage you are at. Once you come here in NZ and finished with your CAP then you can change it more easily. Just a cent from me though. But try to ask if someone has the same experience and they might be able to advise better. Congratulations on your wedding!
DeleteI would like to ask if what school can you recommend to us when we take our cap there. We're planning to go on January 2017 but it seems that the slots for EIT cap intake ate already full and we need to look for another option. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHaloo! Anyone here who will take their CAP course in NMIT on February 13, 2017? Thank you
ReplyDeletehi. Rannerdale Feb 2017 intake, anyone?

The student visa is just your ticket to come to NZ 😄 If you wanna practice as a nurse, you still have to apply to the nursing council which requires the hours of experience...
